Lost/Stolen Cards

If your First Kentucky Visa Debit or ATM card is lost or stolen, please notify us as soon as possible.

You may report your lost or stolen Visa Debit card through the Manage Cards option within Digital Banking.  This option is available 24 hours a day and will immediately disable your card.

You may also notify us of your lost or stolen Visa Debit or ATM card by calling one of the following numbers:

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm: 866-839-6271

After hours, including weekends and holidays: 844-202-5333

 

Report Card Fraud

If you notice suspicious or fraudulent activity on your account, please notify us as soon as possible using one of the notification methods below.

Please call us Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm at 866-839-6271.

If the suspicious activity has occurred with your Visa Debit or ATM card and you are contacting us after hours, including weekends and holidays, you should also turn your card off through the Manage Cards option within Digital banking or by calling 844-202-5333.

What is a contactless debit card?

A contactless debit card allows you to make payments by simply tapping your card near a secure payment terminal, instead of inserting or swiping it.


How do contactless payments work?

Contactless payments use near-field communication (NFC) technology to securely transmit your payment information when you tap your card near a terminal. Transactions are completed in seconds.


How do I know if my card is contactless-enabled?

Look for the contactless (tap-to-pay) symbol on your card and at checkout terminals. If you see this symbol, your card is ready to tap and pay.

Is tapping my card safer than swiping?

Yes. Contactless payments use encrypted data and do not expose your full card details, making them more secure than traditional swipe transactions.


Where can I use my contactless card?

You can use your contactless card anywhere you see the contactless (tap-to-pay) symbol at checkout, including grocery stores, restaurants, and retail locations.


Do I need to enter a PIN when using contactless?

For many everyday purchases, you can tap and go without entering a PIN. For larger transactions, you may be asked to insert your card or enter your PIN for added security.


Can I still insert or swipe my contactless card?

Yes. Your contactless card still works with chip insertion or magnetic stripe swipe if needed.


Is there a fee to replace my debit card?

  • There may be a fee to replace your debit card if it is lost, stolen, or damaged. For the most up-to-date fee information, please refer to our current fee schedule or contact us.

Do you offer instant debit cards?

  • Yes, we offer instant issue debit cards at all 10 of our office locations, so you can get a new card the same day you visit.

Is there a fee for an instant issue debit card?

  • There is no fee for an instant issue debit card when opening a new account. If the instant issue card is a replacement for a lost, stolen, or damaged card, a replacement fee may apply. Please refer to our fee schedule for details.

What is a mobile wallet?

A mobile wallet is a digital version of your wallet stored on your phone or wearable device. It allows you to securely store your debit card and make payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.


How do I add my debit card to my mobile wallet?

To add your debit card:

  1. Open your device’s wallet app
  2. Tap “Add Card”
  3. Enter or scan your card details
  4. Complete the verification process

Is it safe to use a mobile wallet?

Yes. Mobile wallets use encryption and tokenization, so your actual debit card number is never shared. Each transaction uses a unique security code.


Do I need internet access to pay with a mobile wallet?

No. Most in-store mobile wallet payments can be completed without an internet connection.


What happens if my phone is lost or stolen?

Your mobile wallet is protected by passcode, fingerprint, or facial recognition. If your device is lost, you can lock or erase it remotely to protect your account.


Where can I use my mobile wallet?

You can use your mobile wallet anywhere contactless payments are accepted, as well as for online and in-app purchases.


Are there fees for using a mobile wallet?

No, mobile wallets typically do not charge additional fees. They function just like your debit card.


Can I still use my physical debit card?

Yes. Adding your card to a mobile wallet does not replace your physical card—you can use both.
