First Kentucky Bank Employees Donate Over $19,000 to Support Mayfield & Graves County Students
September 23, 2025, Mayfield, Kentucky –
First Kentucky Bank employees have come together once again to make a lasting impact on the lives of local students and their families. Through the bank’s annual Employee Charity of Choice (COC) program, Mayfield-Graves County employees proudly donated more than $19,000 to support essential food and shoe programs in their community.
The Employee Charity of Choice program allows employees to designate a portion of their payroll contributions to local nonprofit organizations that meet vital community needs. For 2025, employees selected programs that directly support children by addressing food insecurity and ensuring access to proper footwear.
A total of $19,000 in contributions was distributed as follows:
- $3,844.50 to the Mayfield Schools FRYSC Food Assistance Program

- $5,767.50 to the Graves County Schools FRYSC Backpack Food Program

- $9,612 to the Mayfield-Graves County Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet Shoe Program

The Mayfield Schools FRYSC Food Assistance Program and Graves County Schools FRYSC Backpack Food Program work to provide nutritious meals to students and/or their families, helping to eliminate the uncertainty of where the next meal will come from. The Mayfield-Graves County Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet Shoe Program provides new, well-fitting footwear to underprivileged students, giving them comfort, confidence, and dignity as they attend school.
“Investing in our communities starts with supporting children and their families,” said Amanda Rorer, First Kentucky Bank Marketing Officer. “We are proud of our employees who so generously give back through the Charity of Choice program. Their contributions directly help ensure that children can focus on learning and thriving, without worrying about basic necessities like food and shoes. We love partnering with the schools and the FRYSCs to ensure that these food and shoe programs continue to be a success for the betterment of the students.”
By teaming up with local schools and nonprofit partners, First Kentucky Bank and its employees are helping to remove barriers to learning, promote student success, and build a brighter future for the next generation.
Across its footprint, First Kentucky has supported student food and shoe programs bankwide for the past 11 years and has donated over $270,000 combined through employee and bank contributions.
