First Kentucky Bank is very excited to announce that we will soon have a new Digital Banking and Bill Pay platform! Our new platform will offer all the same functionality that you are familiar with today, while introducing several new features as well. The new platform will be available on August 18, 2020 at 12 PM CT.
In anticipation of the upgrade to our new platform, there are a few dates and some important information that we would like you to make note of.
Prior to our upgrade on August 18th, external transfers must be submitted no later than August 12th at 2 PM CT and the effective date can be no later than August 17th. You may schedule new external transfers in the “Move Money” section of our new Digital Banking platform beginning on August 18th at 12 PM CT. Please remember that you will not be able to initiate external transfers from August 12th at 2 PM CT through August 18th at 12 PM CT.
Bill pay access will be unavailable beginning August 13th at 7 AM CT through August 18th at 12 PM CT. There will not be an interruption in bill pay payment processing for payments scheduled on our current bill pay platform prior to 7 AM CT on August 13th. Please remember that you will be unable to add, edit or delete payees and payments while bill pay is unavailable. You may access Bill Pay in the “Move Money” section of our new Digital Banking platform beginning on August 18th at 12 PM CT.
eBill Users – eBills will not convert to our new Digital Banking platform. Please remember to contact your payees to request paper or email statements. If you wish to continue to receive eBills you may reestablish those in our new Bill Pay platform beginning on August 18th at 12 PM CT.
Important Payment Processing Changes – With our new Bill Pay platform, bill pay checks will post to your account and a check image will be available, just like when you write a check off your account! Please make note that as of our update on August 18th, bill pay checks will continue to be delivered to the payee by the due date, but your account will not be debited until the payee negotiates the check which may be later than the due date. Electronic payment processing will remain as-is and continue to clear your account automatically via ACH on the due date. The bill pay payment method, electronic versus check, is determined by factors such as the payee’s ability to receive electronic payments.
Transaction categories and transfer descriptions entered in our current Digital Banking platform will not convert to our new Digital Banking platform. Should you wish to save transaction category or transfer description data, you may do so by following the simple steps listed below:
